Commander’s Welcome

Welcome to American Veterans Post 35 in Collinsville Virginia. AMVETS Post 35 is a federally-chartered 501(c)(19) non-profit organization consisting of currently serving military and honorably discharged military Veterans. This Post was chartered in February of 1980 for the purpose of providing an organization that includes ALL military Veterans. The Post includes a majority of Veterans who otherwise would not be able to join other Veterans Service Organizations due to eligibility requirements.

Our welcoming membership offers camaraderie in a family-friendly atmosphere. We encourage Veteran’s spouses, partners, and family members to participate in our activities which are designed to support Veterans, Veteran’s families, and the community.
